Vision Statement for Mount Molloy State School

At Mount Molloy State School, our staff, students and families work together as a united team and school family. We build purposeful relationships grounded in trust, respect and community spirit, and we uphold high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal growth. Our students develop the life skills they need to contribute positively and confidently to their community, and they take pride in their achievements by actively participating in school and local events. We honour the rich traditions of our school and strive to preserve and strengthen them each year.

We recognise every student as a unique individual and believe that mutual respect between students and staff is central to a harmonious and successful learning environment. Our curriculum provides meaningful, engaging learning experiences that empower students to take responsibility for their progress and achieve the expectations of the Australian Curriculum. Students develop confidence and capability in the use of technology and embrace opportunities to grow as leaders, working collaboratively to achieve their academic, sporting and creative goals.

Our staff are committed to continual professional growth and regularly explore innovative teaching and learning approaches that support each student to achieve success. We draw on resources within our community and beyond, engaging experts to enrich learning experiences. Teachers hold high yet realistic expectations for every student and ensure that assessment criteria and learning goals are clearly understood from the outset. Collaboration is central to our practice, with staff working together within the school and across local clusters to ensure consistency and accuracy in student achievement. Wherever possible, we meet with students and their families to discuss progress and celebrate growth.

The Mount Molloy community holds high expectations for respectful and responsible behaviour. Our Student Code of Conduct provides clear, consistent expectations that connect home and school, ensuring students understand and uphold our shared values. Through strong partnerships between staff and families, we work collaboratively to support students in developing the social and emotional skills needed for learning, wellbeing and positive citizenship.
