Choosing the right school is crucial, and at Mount Molloy State School, we're here to address your inquiries about our small, vibrant educational community. Our unique programs, including the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden, Northern Gulf Garden, Nature Play, and more, enrich our students' learning experiences.
Interested in enrolling your child? Contact us for an appointment with the Principal for a comprehensive tour and overview of our teaching approach. This ensures you understand how our nurturing environment supports each student's individual needs.
During the enrolment conversation, we'll discuss your child's strengths, learning styles, social skills, and your aspirations for them, enabling us to tailor our support effectively from day one.
Mount Molloy State School is open to all students, regardless of your local area residency. We look forward to welcoming your child into our supportive and engaged community of learners. Please bring the following with you to your enrolment appointment:

Prep enrolments
Prep is the first year of school and provides the foundation for your child's education. It is compulsory for Queensland children to undertake Prep prior to Year 1. Prep is a full-time program in primary schools and has a defined curriculum. Children attend Monday to Friday, generally from 9am to 3pm.
Children must be 5 by 30 June in the year they enrol.
Use the online calculator to see when your child can start Prep. Simply select your child's month and year of birth.
If your children are commencing Prep next year, we encourage you to participate in our Steps to Prep program run in Term 4 of the year before they start. Please contact us for more information.
